Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, MB, ChB, MRCS (Ed), FRCS (Orth)
Mr Andrew Pearse is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon whose clinical practice consists entirely of surgery to the knee. Originally from Worcestershire, Andrew trained in Manchester and took an international Fellowship in Sports and Reconstructive Knee Surgery at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. He has worked as a Consultant at the renowned Wrightington Hospital before recently returning to the area with his young family.
His NHS practice is based at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, where he receives referrals from GP’s and complex referrals from other consultants. He has a keen interest in research and audit, having published work in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international meetings. He enjoys teaching and training having established and run the popular ‘Orthopaedics Made Easy’ one day course aimed at general practitioners through the Royal College of General Practitioners. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in the School of Health, Sport and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Salford.
